Another day at the swamp

Hey Y'all,
We started our day by having breakfast at the local restaurant. We came back home and rested a little bit. After that C and I went into the big city to have her eyes checked and to get some new glasses. We got thru the exam and got her prescription. We were at one of these places that give a deal on two sets of glasses. The advertised price is two pair of single lens for 69.95. She got prescribed no line bifocals and we got transition lenses. They will be in in about a week. We got the two pair for around 470 bucks. Which is a good deal for two pair of glasses with the lenses she got. It's a hell of a long way from 69.95, but she needs them.

C broke her glasses this weekend while we were at angel city and had to super glue them back together. One of the lens keeps popping out on her. We can't wait for the V.A. to schedule a exam and get her a new set of glasses so we had to go out in the civilian world for these.

Tonight C made spaghetti. It was really good. I have it all over the front of my shirt, but what's new? C is in there watching the bachelor TV show. It's one of her favorites. I'm just killing time right now and relaxing.
