Sunday Night/ Monday Morning

C and I are watching a star trek movie on TV. Today has been a day of rest and relaxation as it should be. I did get out and go to Wal mart a few times. C's parents came over for supper tonight again. We had tortellini soup for supper that C made. It was really good.

P the grand has been a good boy today. The only thing he has done that was anywhere near bad was strowe his toys all over the place. If that is all he has done bad in a day, I can handle that.

Well take it easy and remember the reason behind memorial day.

Hey Y'all,
I planted my tomato plants today. All two of them. One of my plants already have 2 little maters on it. I want to go pick up some more plants of a different kind and plant them. Maybe some hot peppers.

Today was a nice day. I talked to my brother from Tennessee on the phone. He seems to be doing well.

Happy Birthday

Hey Y'all !!!
Yesterday was my birthday. I didn't do much of nothing except take it easy. I got plenty of birthday wishes on face book and calls from my family. My In laws and step daughter came over and we had a cake after supper.

Today is going OK. P the grand woke up at 0700. I am letting C go to sleep for a few more hours. I'll get my sleep in later. P the grand is being a good boy this morning and not getting into too much trouble. Nick Jr is on the tube.

Raising a 1 year old

Right now I am letting C sleep in. J is supposed to come over and take P the grand with her for a few hours while we get stuff done. I am watching P the grand until C wakes up or J comes over for him.

I am super tired myself. We got to sleep late last night. It was well after 0300 when I laid down. P the grand woke up at 0645. I delight in him, but he can wear ya out.

Feeling better today

Hey Y'all,
I am feeling a little better today. My situation still sucks but somehow we are going to make it thru. It looks bleak but C and P the grand comfort my soul.

We had C's parents over for grilled hotdogs. We have them over to the house a lot which has turned out to be a blessing. We enjoy their company. We said when we moved up here that the reasons we wanted to move here was, so that we could be closer to C's parents and P the grand. And to help out with them. So far we have been doing that.

I like the weather up here too. Even when it's hot, it's not as bad as down south. I forget to count my blessings.

Well today is the day that guy is predicting will be the rapture and the end of the world. I personally think that no man knows the day. Only God knows the day and the hour.

Gloom dispare and agony on me!

Hey Y'all,
I have been really depressed here lately. I have been in touch with my doctors at the VA. C wanted to take me down to the hospital last night. My doctor talked to me today and asked about me coming in. I don't want to do that just yet because I know there is a good chance they will admit me to the hospital.

To add to our troubles we are in trouble financially. We are living beyond our means every month. By the time bills are paid there just isn't enough left over for much else. We are having to rely on credit cards to eat and put gas in the truck. all we can pay is the minimum payment. We are getting deeper in debt. I never thought I would be living like this.

Yawn-- Up Early This AM

Good Morning,
I am up early this morning so the wife can sleep a little this AM. I will lay down later on after she wakes up. I am watching the grand son. We just ate buttered toast. He is all sticky from a lollipop he was eating earlier. Lol his grand ma is going to be mad at me later for letting him get sticky. I wiped him off with wipies.

I am not sure what we are doing today. We don't have money to really do anything. We'll just have to see.

Using the wife's computer

Hey Y'all,
My computer is fried. I may have to take it to somebody to get it fixed. Some kind of virus has got into my computer. I don't have the disks to my computer. We can't even get it to fire up.

I spent today sick but got over it. My in laws came over and we had supper. While we were getting ready my next door neighbor came over and knocked on the door. I had asked a few days ago to have his friend come over and cut my grass. Last time he did it for 25 dollars. This time he wanted 45 dollars to cut it because it was tall. I told him I needed to ask my wife. I was pissed but C said we needed to get it cut. I told her I wasn't gonna get raped by this guy. so I went back and told him I would give him 35 to do it. We went back and forth for a minute and he said no he couldn't. I walked off and came back and finished my supper. I called a good friend of mine and asked him if he knew anybody that could cut it for 35 dollars. He said he thought he did.

Cool nights, warm afternoons.

Hey Y'all,
Today I spent laying around the house. C was gone helping her dad with his cabbage patch kids. He only has 3 or 400 of them. He is a collector from way back. He is selling some off. J had P the grand son till this afternoon. When she brought him home, he went down for a nap and didn't wake up till shortly before C got home from helping her dad.

C made meatloaf for supper tonight. It was really good. She cooked it in a pan designed just for meatloaf that her mom gave her. It's like a double pan that all the grease goes to the bottom.

C was really tired tonight. I went into her bedroom a few minutes ago and the light was out and she was snoring. I still had to do my pills. I don't know if she took hers or not.

Hello Gracious Friends

Hey Y'all,
I want to take time out to say thank you to all my readers. your comments and knowing you are out there make me feel special and good. Recently one of my family of readers mentioned the swamp in a comment. Those were good days. I didn't know how good I had it back then.

I wasn't the one who was so sick today. C couldn't sleep last night, so I let her sleep in until J came to pick up P the grandson. We were going to have a friend over for supper. We decided to call C's parents and invite them too. C's dad collects cabbage patch kids. He sold some of them today and turned a good dollar for them. He offered to take us all out to supper and invited our friend along too. We went to Longhorn's steakhouse and had a wonderfull supper!

Well It's 0125 in the morning. I am going to get off here and go see what C is watching on TV. Y'all take it easy!
