Great weekend!!!!

Hey Y'all

I had a great weekend!! Friday night C and I and a couple that we are friends with from where C lives got motel rooms down here. While C and I were waiting for our friends to arrive I gave C her anniversary present. It is the watch pictured with this post. After supper we went out riding. We stopped in at the clubhouse of the motorcycle club I use to be in. It was church night so I got to see everybody. I got the customary pie in the face for my birthday while I was there which made me feel good. I never saw it coming. After we visited there for awhile, C and our friends tooled on back to the motel so I could get a shower and then headed out to the bar I work at.

Saturday I got some rest while C was out in town getting stuff together for my birthday. Her daughters J and K came down friday. Saturday J spent the night with us in the room. There was a surprise birthday party for me at the bar I work at later on after we went out to supper at western sizzler.. The club showed up and alot of my friends and we had a great time. There was even a sheet hung on the front porch with "Lordy Lordy Cornbreads 40" spray painted on it. I got alot of nice gifts and real special card from C. She got me a ring from the harley shop that I liked with 3 skulls on it and also a HD travel alarm clock. Some one else gave me a regular big ben alarm clock which I also really needed cause mine was shot. I got some cool T-shirts too. I traded one of the harley shirts I got for some cool skull earings that I had been looking at there at the harley shop. I have to wait to put them in cause I just got my ear pierced again a week or so ago.

Sunday we went out to the tourist area of the town we were staying at and our friends that came down got some souviners. After that they got on the interstate and we rode with them for a piece and then waved bye. C and I rode to the clubhouse were everyone was gathering for a run that was going on that afternoon. I couldn't make the run because I had to work sunday night but We got to see all of our friends again and enjoy some cheeseburgers and hotdogs. LOL, Yes I did alot of eating this weekend and my diet has been blown out of the water.

Monday C and I checked out of the motel and took a trip in the car this time so K could come too. We went to a town I use to live in before I went into the navy. I even showed them "the rat hole" which is a little shack I use to live in. After that we came back to where I live now and went and saw dad in the nursing home.

It was great way to turn 40. Spending time with the people I love and riding the bike more than I usually get the chance too.

Just do it

Hey Y'all

I am still sticking with my diet. I was losing weight rapidly, but now it seems to have stalled. I was only eating one small meal a day. I have run into problems with my blood sugar being way low when I got up. I am going to have to start eating a little something in the evenings. Maby a can of veggies or some tuna. I found these small cups of tuna at wally world that do not require refrigeration. They are one small serving. I think I am going to start taking one of those to work with me. I still will be eating less and more healthy than I was before dieting. C has been worried that I am not eating enough to sustain me. Maby with my diabetes, she is right. I really do want to lose weight.

Yesterday I took dad around town to take care of some stuff he needed to do. Today I brought him a fan for his room. It is on a pedistal and has a remote controll. Dad really liked it. He liked it so much he had me pick one up for his girlfriend too.

C is doing well. I miss her. I am not shure if she is comming down this weekend or not, but I can at least rest assured I will see her the following weekend on our anniversary. Someday we won't be so far apart and can spend more time with each other.

Serious dieting, aniversary with C getting closer

Hey Y'all

I am doing good on my diet so far. C thinks I am too radical with it. To be honest, I feel great! I got a long ways to go till I lose all the weight I want. As big as I am now it is like carrying a extra person around. My bathroom scales are old. They are one of the old type that works on spring resistance. I am not going to tell ya what they say I weigh cause I don't believe it's accurate. I bought a set of digital scales off ebay. I am waiting for them to arrive. I believe they will be more accurate.

C and I anniversary is getting closer. I can't forget it because it is on my birthday. I will be turning 40. I never thought a year ago that this sweet girl I was talking to on the telephone would be my fiance`. She may be comming down this weekend too. We both need to save money, but she really wants to see me. Two weeks is along time for us to not see each other. If she comes down this weekend it will only be for a day. Of course the following weekend she will be down for the whole weekend.

I still haven't told C what she is getting for our anniversary. This weekend when she was here she was looking around wondering where I had it hid. I think she has a Idea what it is. She won't tell me what she thinks it is though. On the weekend of my birthday/our anniverary I will be taking friday night off work even though my birthday is saturday. I think C and I will visit the clubhouse of the motorcycle club I was in and see some old friends. It will be nice to just spend some time with her.

Diet, The V.A. and such

Hey Y'all

Went to the V.A. last week and they are on my butt about my diet and taking my insulin at the same time everyday. I must say it is a challenge but I am making the effort. I am setting my alarm clock to take my insulin at 12:30 everyday and getting a small bite to eat. I am cutting back the amount I eat. The dietician wants me to keep my meals to under 60g of carbs. It's hard to do but I am doing my best. I shure do seem to smoke alot of cigarettes now. I guess it's that ol' hand to mouth thing. If I ain't throwing food in my mouth I am throwing a ciggy in it.

C is supposed to come down this weekend. I am looking forwards to her visit. I got her anniversary present in the mail today. I am looking forwards to giving it to her. I have to hold off untill the 26th. She already knows it comes from the Harley shop and about how much it cost. She got that out of me the other day. I told her it's leather panties with 24 carrot gold thread and diamonds around the waistband. By the time our anniversary gets here she will probably have figured out what it is, if she hasn't already. I have a hard time keeping a secret from her.

On a serious note, I do think it will look nice on her and she will be proud. I can hardly believe it's been a year now. We have our ups and downs just like any other couple. Sometimes I piss her off and sometimes she pisses me off. Somehow we manage to not let the little things get in the way though.

Well I am kicking back tonight and listening to bluegrass on the internet radio. Something about a fiddle, banjo and a mandolin always gets me in a good mood.

Been Doin' Fine

Hey Y'all,

Just wanted to drop in and wave four and a thumb at ya.

I have mostly been working. I did go to C's on my last days off and enjoyed her company. We are both still getting thru finacial hardships but we are doin' fine.

On the 26th of may it will be C and I first year anniversary. It hardly seems like a year since we have been going out. There has alot happened over the past year but it seems to have just flown by. I guess the bible is right when it says your life is like a vapor. Here and gone before ya know it. It seems the older I get, the faster time flies by. My time with C is and has been awesome.

I've got C a extra special present for our anniversary. I have the sneaky suspision that she has a Idea what it is, but then again I don't know. She won't let me give her no hints about what it is. She knows I have a hard time keeping something like this a secrect from her. I am like a little kid. Right now I am waiting for it to be shipped here to the house. I can hardly wait to give it to her. It is something that I have a secret intrest in and if I could afford it I would have a whole big collection of different ones. I can hardly wait to see this one on my lady. Maby I am a pre-vert and it's underwear. Then again maby not. I ain't tellin'. I will say this much about it. All the stores in this area are sold out of it. I turned to Ebay and found a brand new one in the box from a store up in minesota for a big savings off the normal price they sell for around here. I am right proud of myself.
