A Really Nice Night

Hey Y'all!
Yep it was wednesday night tonight amd I did my usuall thing and headed for my club brothers bar. His wife made dinner and it was great! I had two platefulls. The Boss and Mama showed up, afew of our probates and prospects and some of us patch holders. We weren't flying (wearing our vests with our patch on the back) We all just got to hang around and enjoy each others company. No pressure, no worries or hassle, no buisness. Drank a beer, did a shot and got to dance with Mama. It was nice.

Alot of people don't understand that when ya got those rags( club patches or logo) on yore back it changes things. Even though people know who you are in the MC community anyway, when yer out in public with those rags on, it's more buisness like. There is alot of protocol to follow, and you are a represenitve of that patch on your back. People are watching. You hafta be in a different frame of mind. There are alot of politics involved sometimes. Believe me being a patchholder ina club is nothing like what hollywood portrays. We are not a bunch of ignorant hooligans looking for trouble. Very much so the oppisite. We are a well oiled machine that functions to the best of it's ability. Some of us are hairy and dress the way we do because of our lifestyle, But don't be fooled, were not just a bunch of dumb bikers. It takes smarts to survive in the MC world. When ya ain't smart, ya pay for it.

Often it isn't the biker club people that are the ones who get outta line or do something stupid. It's the citizens or civilians(non motorcycle club people) if you prefer. Some people have this sterotype in their minds of what Motorcycle Club members are about. We are everyday people that have set ourselfs apart to be commitied to each others as brothers and sisters. I may not hold a job right now, but for the most part we are hard working forthright people with families and homes and responsibilities just like everyone else.

Well, Listen. It's time for me to get my shower and go to bed so I can face tommorow and whatever the day brings. Y'all take care and I'll catch ya on the flip side!
