Taking Care of the grand

Hey Y'all,
I am watching P the grand tonight while C goes to the auction to help her dad sell cabbage patch kids. He is a big time collector. He is thinning out his collection.

We have recently had problems with the auctioneer at the auction. C has made up with him, I have not. Time will tell. I am pissed still.

The pepper plants I had except one Tabasco plant died when I fertilized them a couple weeks ago. I have got some new plants and new soil to plant them in. I also picked up some sweet banana peppers, Jalapenos, and a cow horn pepper plants. The only problem I have is my porch is shaded and only gets 4-5 good hours of sunlight. For the plants I have it's recommended to have 6 to 10 hours of direct sunlight.

I am enjoying my plants and they are a great diversion from daily life and gives me something to do.

Late night post

Hey Y'all,
I did a lot of sleeping today. I forgot to take my medicine till late. I was feeling bad from not taking it. I watched P the grand this morning and let C sleep. She had a appointment to get the stitches out of her mouth late morning.

P the grands Mom took him today. He got to get out of the house and go play with one of his friends. She is coming to pick him up tomorrow. It is good for him to see and know his mommy.

Doctors appointment today and rest

Hey Y'all,
We got up early this morning and went to the VA for my appointment with the shrink. It was good. We may do some medication changes. I am still certified nuts.

We are dog sitting for some of C's family. Now we have three dachshunds. They are already becoming a pain in the ass and barking a lot. I'll stick with my cat.

Going to see the doctor

Hey Y'all,
I am going to see the psychiatrist in the morning at the VA. Just a regular check up. My problems are psychiatric as well as financial. I thank God everyday for my wife. Without her I don't know what I would do. She is my best friend and I Love her.

Saturday Rest day.

Hey Y'all,
We pretty much took it easy today. Both of us have been feeling draggy. We had C's parents over again tonight. We fixed taco's for supper. We have been washing clothes and watching TV. We watched a movie earlier called the proposal with Betty White and Sandra Bullock. I have seen it before, it's good. Now C is folding clothes and we are watching a show where the Heff is getting interviewed.

Feeling kinda down

Hey Y'all,

C and I both were feeling kinda bad today. I slept till 3 or 4 this afternoon. C did more sleeping than she usually does. We both just didn't feel good today.

C's parents came over for supper. We have them over nearly every night. They are going thru tough times and if we feed them, it is usually the one good meal they get in a day. I don't mind and I enjoy their company. They really like seeing P the grand. They sing him songs and bounce him around. He has a blast! They do too!

My bell pepper plants are dropping their leaves. I fertilized them the other day and I think I burnt them up.

Thursday at Cornbreads

Hey Y'all,
Today wasn't a bad day except C was not feeling well today. She got to feeling better by supper time when her parents came over for supper.

Her dad rode with her to the auction after supper. I stayed home and took care of P the grand. It was easy. He went down for the night about 8:00 pm.

C is back home now and relaxing and watching TV for the night. She is watching "The real housewives of New York". I am on her computer in her room where the TV is. She is the TV watcher primarily. If something looks interesting that she is watching, I will watch along. I'm not big on Real Housewives. I'll watch a little of it because they are rich and so inbred at the same time. But it isn't long before they make me sick. Lol

Tooth trouble

Hey Y'all,
C had to get a tooth pulled yesterday. It had chipped and rotted down to the root. It was not a simple extraction. One of the roots broke off when the tooth was coming out. The dentist had to grind the bone and do a lot of digging and picking around in her mouth. She did Ok with it even though it took a while.

She woke up this morning in pain. I went and got us some bagels this morning. They are soft and chewy enough with butter on them. C ate and then laid back down for awhile.

P the grand has a dentist appointment today. We will take him this afternoon.

Fun much deserved weekend

Hey Y'all,
Saturday C and I made arrangements for P the grand to be took care of all day. That enabled us to go to the national presidents meeting which was going on only a hundred miles away in SC. We spent the day there and got to see a lot of people we know in the club from all over the nation. It was hot as blue blazes over there.

We came home and fell asleep before midnight. P the grand slept late which let us sleep late. We got up kinda late for a church Pic Nic. We made it out to the state park and there was a full service going on. After the service we had a picnic and P the grand had a good time. He got to run around and play and get all dirty. We had to go from there to meet some more of our family at a pizza place a long ways away from the state park.

C has been driving all this weekend. She is super tired. I drove very little this weekend. We will sleep very well tonight.

Sleepy Head

Hey Y'all,

I slept all day or at least till 2pm. I find it funny that as I sit here at the computer, I am nodding off. I had a pretty good day. It rained. We needed it badly. I went to Wal mart and picked up the fixing's fort BLT sandwiches.

As usual C's parents made it over for supper. We all enjoyed our BLT's on toast. I am going to enjoy some Ice cream later on!

Hello

Hey Y'all,
We are doing well. it's tough in this day and age but we are getting use to it. I tried to do a post the other day, but blogger would not post it. I hope this post makes it thru.

I got some tomatoes planted in buckets, some Tabasco peppers and some green bell peppers. They are on my front porch. We are looking forwards to harvesting the produce from these plants. C won't eat the Tabasco peppers, but I will make some pepper sauce with them. We use bell peppers and tomatoes all the time now. It will be nice to have fresh off the vine/ vine ripe tomatoes and bell peppers.

Payday

Hey Y'all!!
Today is the first day of the month and you know what that means!! All those with a fixed income get paid today!! I can go pay some bills either today or tomorrow.

I am going this afternoon to make arrangements for our home owners insurance. I hate to pay for insurance because it seems like I am giving money and lots of it, away for nothing. But God forbid if we ever need it, it will be there.

This month is going to be a expensive month for bills that means not a lot left over for food. I know God will bring us thru.
