Memorial weekend

Hey Y'all,

Remember you sailor, marine, solider while you are enjoying the weekend.

I am fixing to go to bed very soon. I just thought I would get in a few words before heading there. I will be glad to get off this couch and back into my chair. That won't happen until we are in our new place.

We are still waiting for the title to come back from the title search. The person at the lawyers office who usually does it was out of the office for a few days. Monday is the holiday, Tuesday she will just be returning. Wednesday will be the earliest day we can find anything out if there is anything to be found out yet.

We have been out visiting friends and driving around in the mountains, all that stuff until I started feeling bad like I needed to lay down. I ended up crashing this afternoon for a while. I am glad I did, I needed to real bad.

Hey There!!

Hey Y'all!!
Today is my birthday! Yesterday C and I celebrated by going out to a Japanese steak house and having hibachi. It was fun to watch the chef prepare our meals and the food was delicious!

Things are going OK with the house. We still don't have a closing date. The law firm that HUD requires us to use phone lines were all down today (Tues). I was supposed to call (Tues) and find out the closing date. Hopefully everything will be up and running today (Wed) and we can find out something.

C and I have shopped for wood flooring till I think we are turning into a tree. I think we have settled on what we want thou at the right price.

I have been going thru a little stress but not like I was when I lived in south Ga. My wife says I am a lot more calm and relaxed up here in north Ga. That's a good thing. My Wife has been a bundle of nerves here lately. Keep her in your prayers. She has been almost 2 and a half days without a cigarette!! It will be great to move into our new home and be smoke free!!

Well Take Care!!

Tired

Hey Y'all,

I woke up not feeling well today. We took a nap this afternoon and then met our realtor and our friend out at the house we are buying.

Our friend is acting as our contractor to do the work on the house that needs to be done. We are going to have to drop a lot of bucks into fixing it up. In the scheme of things it will be well worth it. We are getting the house at a great price.

Well, Take it easy!

Things are going good

Hey Y'all,

I rode with my friend to the VA in Augusta and got my meds. It was a fun time. My friend is a great conversationalist and we get along great.

While I was gone I got a call from C, We have a contract on the house we want!! The company selling the house haven't gave us a closing date yet, but it should come about in a reasonable time.

We ate Chinese tonight. It was really good. We are at the apartment relaxing now. It is cool up here in the night time. The days are in the 70's.

Well Take it easy!

Wide awake

Hey Y'all,
It's almost 0200 and I am going to bed. I have to be up at 0730. A friend of mine is coming to the apartment to Take me to Augusta to the VA so I can do a walk in and get some meds. I have run out and been taking half doses hoping that my meds would show up since I changed my address. I had enough to take a correct, full dose tonight since I am going tomorrow. Since I was taking only half doses of my psych meds I have been feeling weird. That's not a good thing. Since I took the full dose tonight, I am feeling much better and I am calming down.

We have the grand baby tonight. His mom is going to pick him up tomorrow. That's between C and J. I will be gone most of the day.

Well I need to lay down.

Y'all take it easy!

Rough Day for C

Hey Y'all,

C has been not feeling too well. I think the stress is getting to her and she might have some kind of bug. It's like she has all the Symptoms I was having when we lived in south Ga. I am finally getting better. Say a prayer for her.

We are getting acclimated to living in the apartment. The guy that lives next to us is pretty cool. The one two doors down acts strange. This place is a little unusual and the people are too. LOL. I believe it is where God wants us to be. What is normal anyway?

We went to wal mart and bought stuff that we need to make things comfortable for us. Paper towels, toilet tissue, dish soap, trash bags, a larger kitchen type trash can, a bath mat for the shower plus some other things we needed. Stuff like that.

Well Have A Good One!

In the apartment

Hey Y'all!

We moved into the apartment today. The phone company came and hooked up the Internet for us this morning.

We actually got a full nights sleep last night. C got over here to the apartment before I did this morning. I made it about a hour later. We both fell asleep and woke up to the phone guy knocking on the door. After he left we went back to sleep again. C woke up not feeling well. I don't know if it is because we are tired out or if she is getting sick.

We have been under so much stress the past few weeks and been on the go. I think we have both finally hit our brick wall. We are resting now and trying to recover. We didn't go to the auction and see our friends like we usually do. We needed a night to do nothing. I got us Chinese food and we ate in.

We talked to the realtor and we are waiting for 5 to 7 business day for the agency selling us the house to get back in touch with us. Say a prayer everything is a go ahead with our paper work and things are in order like they should be.

Say a prayer for us. There are so many things going on right now.

Take Care!

Finally, Good News

Hey Y'all,

Well I finally got some good news to share, Thank the good lord!

First we got the apartment we wanted to stay in. We will move in Friday. Also the local Internet provider is going to hook us up with Internet there. We are paid up for a month with no contract.

Second, HUD accepted the offer we put in on the house we want! There is a process of sending paperwork off and having it signed back to us from the government and the marketing company that is selling the home. Things are in the process. Keep praying that things will continue to go well.

We may be out of Internet for a little while, but it shouldn't be for long. Maybe a day or so until it is hooked up at the apartment.

Well Y'all take care!

Alert

Hey Y'all,

I apologize for not posting. Things have been crazy. We are in north Ga living in a motel room. Our stuff is in storage. If things work out right we will be moving in a apartment if they approve our application. We can no longer afford to stay in a motel room after Friday. Keep us in your prayers.

There is one catch to the apartment. it has no Internet. Since our stay there will be temporary we may have to do without Internet for a month or two. Don't know yet.

Hopefully we will know soon if our application for the apartment is approved. We need a break. I am tired of getting bad news.

We have a home we have put a bid in on. It is a HUD home being sold by the government. Or at least a company that does that for the Government. If everything goes right we have been told we could close within 30 to 60 days if they accept our offer. If they do not accept our offer we will try and put in a stronger offer. Dealing with the government is always goofy and some what senseless and time consuming. Pray that God will work this out. We don't have a lot of time or money.

Take care!

Tired

Hey Y'all,

A friend of ours came over and helped us pack up our kitchen. I didn't realize how much stuff was in our kitchen. We still have a little more to pack up, odds and ends in there.

We went out to a going away party tonight at the bar I use to work at. We had a good time. It was hard to say goodbye to our friends that were there. Some of them we will see tomorrow. We are having a few (10-12) of our close friends over for lunch. When they leave we will be doing more stuff that will help us to get packed up. Mainly going to Wal mart and getting plastic tubs to pack stuff in and maybe some more cardboard boxes.

Well Y'all it's late and I need some sleep. I'm gonna jump off here.

Take care!

Time is getting closer

Hey Y'all,

We have so much to do and have fallen a little bit behind on getting ready to move. There is so much to be done and I can only do so much physically or mentally. Some days I feel like I am going to blow a gasket. I will be glad when all this is over with and I can settle down and just start living. Thank goodness for my wife who helps me keep my sanity.

The next week will be extra busy for me.

Y'all take it easy!
