New week

Hey Y'all!
Hope all is well in your neck of the woods!!

Me I'm just takin' it greasy and enjoying my couple of days off. C came down this weekend while I was working. We got to do our usual hanging out. I am going up there next time I have days off. She has some realitives in town from overseas (England) That are visiting for a few days and she wants me to meet them. It should be fun.

Pulled the bike outta the garage tonight after the rain left and took a spin. I tooled on down to the bar I work at to give one of the bartenders a couple of bottle openers I had here at the house. Her's went missing and it gave me a good excuse to get out and ride a little. I hit it just right and missed the rain storms coming and going. Made for a nice night. Me and dad just got thru with some pizza and now I'm just chillin'. Ya know it's the simple things in life that make it good.

I'm going to put the bike in for service plus have the back brakes changed on friday. It will take me till next week to pick it up, but thats O.K. I have several friends who have told me to buy the supplies and they would help me do the service, but it is just easier for me to drop the bike off at the shop and pick it up later.

Well that's what is happenin' in my little corner of the world.

Been awhile, but Im still here!

Hey Y'all,
On my days off (monday thru wednesday) I went up and visited C and K. We had a good time visiting with each other. Wednesday when I was going to leave I over slept so I waited till c got off work and had supper before returning home. We had a roast that was done in the crockpot with veggies and some garlic mashed potatoes. Man it was out of this world!!! I got on the road alittle after dark and made it home around midnight. Traffic was light, so it made for a good trip.

I wish I had some big exciting biker news to give ya, but I don't. The weather is getting cooler, which is nice. I have not been doing much riding at all for the last few months. It has just seemed more convienient to jump in the truck and go. I like riding but just have not been motivated to get out and do much lately. I don't know what is going on with me in that dept. Money is getting tight even though I am working now and I have to do a service on the bike and also replace the back brakes very soon. I can either pay a shop to do it or humble myself and ask one of my friends to help me with it that have offered to do so. I am kind of out of the loop in the biker comunity around here right now cause I am working every weekend while everyone or should I say most people are off work.

This weekend we have a band that is real popular in this area performing in the bar. It should be a busy couple of nights. Hopefully there won't be too much trouble. We will be one man down on the bouncer staff. I think we can handle it though.

Not a bad week

Hey Folks,
Just checkin' in. C and K came down this weekend. Me and C got to spend alot of time together this weekend even though I was working. On my next days off I plan to go up there and see her. It is always so much more relaxing when I go up there. Both for me and her. I am happy she is in my life.

Things at the bar are going great. I really enjoy working there. I haven't been doin' much with my bike or the club. It's a long story, but maby in six months or so I can tell it to you.

Tonight we are having a big storm pass thru here. Lot's of lightning and stuff. I have had to wait awhile to get on the ol' 'puter. Life is an adventure. If you do what you feel is right and live it to it's fullest as much as you can, be content.

Went out today and got a new phone with a blue tooth headset. It shure is nice to drive down the road and hold a conversation while smoking a cigarette and not have to feel like I am some sort of juggler or something. Lot more safer too.
