Workin' for a livin'

Well another weekend has past. This sunday was lazy time. I did make it to the harley dealer and bought a backrest for my bike. Mama has been encouraging me for quite some time to get one. Everyone I ride says they wish I had one, so I went ahead and did it. Since it is a quick detacable one, the mounting hardware is a little tricky. I am gonna let my buddy the wrench at the local bike shop install it for me. Hopefully my unemployment checks will make it here soon so I can pay for it all. That sounds terrible don't it? Spending unemployment on bike parts.

Speaking of unemployment, I just got mine straightened out today again this week. More trips to the labor dept. more paperwork. Sometimes I think I work harder for my unemployment check than I do at my regular job. I will be glad to go back to work here in a couple of weeks. Don't get me wrong, I like sitting on my ass, but the pay sucks.

I wish I could be like windfall woman http://www.windfallwoman.blogspot.com/ It must be nice to show up to work knowing that if ya walked out there would be no real reprecussions and it is your choice to work or not. Oh well we all eat outta the masters hand and even the birds don't go hungry. I guees it is our lot in life to be trusted with different measures of sustenance. She does alot of good with what she has been trusted with. Me on the other hand would probably sqaunder it if I had it. (remember I am the guy who buys motorcycle parts with his unemployment check)

Dad is doing much better. He adtually has got into bed the last two nights without me helping him. That is a good sign. I want him to do as much as he can on his own without depending on me so he doesn't become a invalid or something. I am right there to help him when he needs it though.
