Thursday- a day like any other day
Well today is one of those days, Not necisarrily depressed, but not overly exuberent, just kinda normal day in the life of cornbread.
Dad is really struggling to get in and outta bed. It bothers me when I have to stand there and let him struggle some cause it hurts him if I handle him. I have to pick him up and pull him around just the way he wants me too to keep from it hurting him. It's a art form. I can only do as much as he will allow me to do. Ever since the last year when his health has really declined he seems to be getting worse off. I think this bed thing can be cured with a different matress though. Dad bought a whole new bed a few weeks ago and the matress is like super duper thick and soft. I think if he went to a slimer matress he would have less trouble getting in and outta bed. I sat on his bed last night and I had trouble getting up on it and it was so soft I almost slid off. That was untill dad started hollering at me that I was gonna cause his bed to compress and not return to shape cause I am so heavy. We both had a laugh over that.
Got outta the house today and made my way to the bike shop where I get my service done. Sat around and shot the shit and looked at some porn. (thats a parts book to you non M/C types) Bought another knife and bought my brother a gremlin bell to go on his bike since it is there at the shop being repaired from where he hit a deer with it. Maby it will bring him some luck. Made it to alltell to get my cell phone fixed. The battery was defective and then went to Lowe's to buy a cell phone case that actually has a velcro flap to keep it from falling out.

I agree with you...it's the damn mattress but honey I'm sure you know it won't be easy trying to convince him of that.....just try and make it sound like he came up with the idea..if he ever says he wants a new mattress you gotta act like you never thought of it before :)
