Day after

Hey Y'all,
I had a good thanksgiving. My oldest brother from South Carolina came up and spent the day with us, spent the night and went home. It was good to see him. We had the imediate family over and J's friends over. We have a lot of left overs. I had a turkey sammich for supper.

Sore tounge

Hey Y'all!
After my dental work, I got a canker sore on my tongue. It really hurts bad. C got me some canker sore medicine. It works really good , but it stings when it first goes on.

C and I did some Christmas shopping tonight after supper. We got just what we wanted for one of our daughters. We still have a lot of shopping to do. I have yet to get something for C even.

Got some dental work

Hey Y'all,
I got 8 cavities filled and a temporary bridge where my missing front teeth were. I got to wait 2 weeks while the lab makes my permanent teeth.

It feels weird to have something up there in the front of my mouth. Also at the time of me writing this my mouth is very sore. Hopefully in the next day or two my mouth will stop hurting.

C was sick a couple of nights ago

Hey Y'all,

C had a trip to the emergency room. She had blood in her diarrhea. They still ain't sure what she has. We are feeling better and getting better as each day goes by. We are not 100% yet but we are progressing.

I haven't posted because I have been feeling weak and sick. Thank all Y'all for your concern and wishes for us to get better.

Been Sick.

Hey Y'all,
I had to go to the VA emergency room last night. I was in so much pain yesterday I had to call 911 and have a ambulance come out. They thought I had the flu. I decided I didn't need to get a ride from them if I only had the flu. We went to the VA in Atlanta and I had a lot more than just the flu. After bloodwork and a CT scan, It was determined I had Coilitus. It's a infection of the colon. I have been very sick. I am home now Of course and feel a lot better. They have me on antibiotics and I am not over my problems but at least I feel I am getting better.

Well today was veterans day. I called all my brothers and talked to all of them except one who was working.

Today Nov. 9 was P the Grands Birthday!

Hey Y'all,
Even though we celebrated P the Grands birthday on Saturday, Today was his actual birthday. He spent it with his mom all day. I spent it sitting in a dentist chair.

I had a very painful deep cleaning all the way under the gums down to the roots. I got a lot of shots of anesthesia. Them things HURT!!!. The girl cleaning my teeth had to stop and I had to get more anesthesia about half way thru.

If the VA approves it and I expect them to, I will get a bridge where my missing teeth are. I also have to have some periodontal work done, gum grafts etc. I have gingivitis. I haven't took very good care of my mouth. I have handled all kinds of people in my life. I must say, going to the Dentist scares the crap out of me!

P's Birthday Celebration

Hey Y'all,
We had P the grands and his cousins birthday celebration today. C's Ex husband and his girlfriend were here for the party. All went well. It was a lot of work. We had C's niece helping us get the place straight. P the grand and his cousin A had a good time with their toys and presents. C made a delicious lasagna. We had cake after the kids opened presents.

Life is rolling along OK.
