Good Mornin Y'all

It's 0530 as I am typing this. This is the first time I have been awake much in the last few days. I have been sick with something. So has C and P, I have heard them coughing and sneezing the times I have drifted in and out of sleep. I think the whole house has come down with something. K our other daughter is here with us for a few weeks figuring out what she is going to do with her life. We'll see. Well, I'm gonna make this a short one. Blessings, Cornbread

Hey Y'all,
I am sitting up and dozing off at the computer. It's been a long night. We had C's parents over for supper. Afterwards they all went to the auction. I stayed home and relaxed.

I'll be glad when the first of the month gets here and I can straiten out my credit card mess and everything else.

Well Y'all, I'm hungry. I think I'll go hit the kitchen and find something good to eat.

Cooling off

Hey Y'all,
Today was kinda cool outside. This evening it is down right nippy. It's 45 on my thermometer as I type this.

We had C's parents over for supper tonight. It was spaghetti with salad and garlic bread. We all enjoyed it.

C went to the auction to socialize. I stayed home. We don't have any money to buy things there.

Howdy, Long Time

Hey Y'all,
Since I posted last we have been to south Ga and back. We didn't have a lot of time to do all that we wanted to while we were down there but never the less we had a good time. I got my head shaved to raise money for the club. All of the chapter members were doing it. I was the first one and the person that won shaving my head made it into a Mohawk. We didn't bring our clippers with us, so I had to wait till we got home for C to shave it all off. Now I have a shaved head and a goatee and mustache.

We are really messed up financially from going down there even though the club paid for one night of us staying there. I hate being so poor I can't do anything.

Other than that we are doing good. P the grand son has got to the age he throws temper tantrums. Gotta love it!

The weather has been quite nice here. We are even running the air conditioning during the day a little. It has been in the 80's according to my thermometer.

nice day today

Hey Y'all,
Today's weather could be considered a little hot. In the 80's anyway. That's pretty warm for around here.I think we are due some rain, I just hope it holds off a few days. I gotta haul another load of horse manure for a friend of mine, for the community garden.

I got to get the back of the truck cleaned out before we go down to south Ga coming up on the 19Th.

Hey Y'all,
I got up to go to the bathroom and had to check my computer. I have only been asleep a few hours.

I don't know if I mentioned it or not, but the VA finally got my meds strait. I was without my pain meds for almost a month. That sucked.

Well I just wanted to drop in and say hey! I am going back to bed now.

Good day today

Hey Y'all,
Today was a good day. C's parents stopped by and later on J stopped in to see P the grand. We all hung out and chatted. J had to go to work and My In laws stayed for supper. We went and got pizza from dominoes pizza.

I have been nodding off a lot today. Getting back use to my pain meds after being without them for about a month has been rough. My pain is gone now, but I am loopy and sleepy from the morphine.

Well it's 0230, I need to put it down.

Monday at the VA

Hey Y'all,
C and I spent all day at the VA today. I saw my psychiatrist and then C and I split up. she had to see about eyeglasses and a cold/congestion that won't go away. It turned out to be alergies. I went and got travel pay and got my meds straightened out. I know that sounds simple but I have been with out my pain meds for a month. I did finally get to meet my primary care doctor for the first time and we got it strait. I did a lot of walking today and it made me very sore even though I used my cane. I was in a lot of pain.

I am very sleepy as I type this and yes my back is hurting even now after taking my pain meds. It's rough having a jacked up back. I know it would be hurting worse if I hadn't of taken my pain meds. I am going to sleep well tonight.

I love my wife. She was a real blessing today. She drove today and tended to P the grand who we had to take with us.

Tuesday's First of the month!

Hey Y'all,
Today was the first of the month! I am gonna go out and pay bills tomorrow (Wednesday). Tonight we met C's parents to go out to eat. The restaurant screwed up both me and C's steak so we got our meals for free! We only had to pay for P the grands supper. I ended up bringing most of my steak home. I ate a little of it tonight.

C and I didn't do much during the day. I think we both had a case of the lazy bones. Keeping up with P the grand was enough for us.

Well It's after 0100 in the morning. I need to go to bed soon.
