Say What!!

Hey Y'all,
I spent a lot of today sleeping. I was not feeling good earlier. Now I am Ok. We had fried chicken from Wall Mart for supper tonite. After supper C and her dad went to the auction. C came back with some more neat stuff that we don't need, but she got a great deal on some stuff for the ladies at church and the craft ministry.

I am so ready for the first of the month to get here. I need money to pay off bills and want to quit living off my credit card. I am thankful I have them don't get me wrong, but I am happier when they have a zero balance. That will be a long time coming, I have the feeling.

Another day in paradise

Hey Y'all,
Today was a quiet day for me. C was a different story. The baby's mama got a flat on her car. She doesn't have a doughnut. C went to get J's tire changed and they had to buy a four way lug wrench. C got her on the road. She has a job that requires her to drive.

We went out with some friends for a Mexican dinner. Had a good time and got our belly's full.

Not so good news today

Hey Y'all,

C went and got her heart checked today. She had been wearing a monitor for 24 hours. The doctors looked at it and her heart is still racing at about 180 beats per minute. They are going to go back in and do the burning parts of her heart with electrodes again. Keep her in your prayers. The doctors want to do the operation within the next 2 weeks. Pray for her nerves and that this time the procedure will be successful.

Stayed home today

Hey Y'all,
C and I stayed home all day today. There was no reason to go out. We had all we needed to fix supper with. C's parents came over and we had spaghetti and garlic bread. P the Grand is going thru a growth spurt or something. He all of a sudden has a very aggressive appetite.

Our friend brought us over more brown eggs. Two flats of big double yolkers and about eight flats of regular eggs. Farm fresh, Brown eggs. Yum. We will be keeping the neighbors happy and anybody else who wants some.

Tomorrow we go to the VA in Atlanta so C can get her heart checked out. It is doing some strange things and fluttering so they want to see her after her operation. Keep her in your prayers.

Another good day

Hey Y'all,
We made it to church today. I slept thru a lot of it. The main reason I went is because C wanted to go and I knew if I said I didn't want to go then she wouldn't go.

We went to one of the next towns over. C picked up some stuff for doing cross stitch. We picked up some Popeye's fried chicken and brought it back for supper. We had C's parents over for supper like always. Now C and I are relaxing. We watched a movie earlier.

Had a good day

Hey Y'all,
We had a good day today. We dropped Sadie the Yorkie off at the groomers today. She got a trim and a flea dip. We went to the Petsmart store. We picked up some play toys for the dog, and some nutra cal for her and some kitty litter for Belle the cat.

We had a nice dinner out with C's parents. Tomorrow we will cook supper here. We enjoy feeding C's parents and they enjoy coming over here to see P the grand.

Been to the Doc.

Hey Y'all,
I had to go to the VA in Atlanta today. I had appointments with my shrink and the people doing my CPAP Machine. I guess I got to start wearing it again. I don't like it.

Tonight I am tired. It has been a long day. C is doing well, She rested today. Her niece came over today and took care of P the grand while I was gone to the doctor.

C had surgery the other day

Hey Y'all C had day surgery on her heart. they went in thru her artery to her heart and ablazoned spots so her electrical impulses in her heart would work right. She is sore and tied today. She slept most of the day today. I have been tired today too.

Tomorrow I go to the VA hospital in Atlanta for several appointments. C is going to have her Niece come over and watch P the grand. C can't lift anything over ten pounds. I have no idea what time I will get back.

New addition to the family

Hey Y'all,
We got a new addition to the family! A 18 month old Yorkie! She is just as sweet as can be!! We don't have papers on her or anything. We got her as a pet. We got her from a friend of ours who breeds them for a living.

We got rid of the dachshund we had. We could only keep him outside and when he got around P the grand he would jump up on him with sharp nails. The Yorkie is much more docile. She is just a real sweetheart.

We still have the cat. her and the Yorkie are still figuring out their relationship with each other. Lol.

Went out last night

Hey Y'all,
Me and C and C's parents went out and met a friend of ours at a bar in Helen Ga. for her birthday. C's mom was the designated driver for her parents. I was the designated driver for us. Our friends boyfriend is blind from diabetes and can't drive. It didn't stop our friend from having a good time on her birthday! We had a babysitter for P the grand. A free one, the best kind!

Quiet day

Hey Y'all,
Today was a quiet day. We attended a memorial service for one of our friends who's husband died about a year ago. It was really nice. We were on the way home and had a problem with the kid at burger king. I told him I was gonna kick his ass. C asked for the manager and told him off. We came home and I ate my burger.

C's parents came over for supper. We had chicken and dumpling soup. It was really good.

After supper C and her dad went to the auction. She bought some nice things on the cheap. Now we are sitting up watching TV. Soon we will be going to bed.

I think everything is gonna be alright

Hey Y'all,
Today was ok, but a long day. We got up this morning with P the grand. His Mom came and picked him up for a few hours. C and I went and got pedicures. I was desperately in need of one. I am diabetic and it is good for me to get pedicures. I haven't got one in over a year. It was past due.

I came home and relieved J, P the grands mom. He was asleep so I laid down and took a nap. C was away doing some things for the ministry she works for. P woke up about 2:30 pm or so. We stayed up till C got home. Then we went with friends to a Mexican restaurant.

So today was a long day. But a good day. It's always a good day when I get to spend time with C.

The Government is frustrating.

Hey Y'all,
My check showed up with out the extra benefit on it. Also the VA has a proposal that I am not competent to handle my finances. We are trying to prove that I am competent to handle my finances. If not I will be assigned a fiduciary to oversee my finances. usually a banker or a lawyer. They won't let C be my fiduciary because of some personal reasons on C's part.

We are working on it and have been meeting with the VA representative to try and get this straightened out. Keep us in your prayers.

I have problems that I deal with by going to the doctors at the VA, And taking the medication they prescribe. I have already been to jail because of my disease or problems. There are many things that go thru my head even with the medicine. I don't drink. I am trying to do things right. Well not to defend myself, but kinda explain things. I don't usually talk about it. It can be unpleasant to talk about. Thank God That I have C to help me. She is my help mate. I don't know what I would do without her.
