Going home in the morning
Hey Y'all,
C got thru her doctor appointments today and everything went well. We went by lake lanier to see how low it was. It has come up but is still down really bad. We came on up to Helen and got our room. It is really nice. We had supper with J, C's oldest daughter. It was good to see her. We are really concerned about her. I haven't posted it on here but she is pregnant and just left her boyfriend who is in the army and moved back up here in the mountains.
After we had supper with J, We headed off to Cleveland and the auction. We bought a few things and C won 50 bucks. We came back to Helen And went to the huddle house restaurant. We had a terrible experience and C was so pissed she made our server cry.
We got a phone call tonight. K got a experience with the police and found out what bastards they can be. She went thru a roadblock and had her car searched and litterly torn apart. She was treated rough and if she was a criminal. She was accused of all sorts of things. There is not a lot we can do because the officers had "probable cause". That's their excuse anyway. There is not a lot we can do. I have been on the other side of the law before and know how they work. C is going to talk to the police chief on Monday. I don't think it will do much thou. Not in my little southern good old boy redneck town.
We head back home in the morning (Saturday). I am really enjoying getting away but it all has to crash, I have to go back to work and we have to get back in our routine.
